Horehound ( Marrubium vulgare) is a member of the mint family and is noted for its long-standing benefits in the form of sore throat lozenges. It is also known to have anti-inflammatory properties as well as reducing cholesterol levels and sugar levels too.  It can be made into a tincture, syrup, candy and of course tea.
