Mexican Tarragon (Tagetes lucida) kinship with its cuisine cousin French Tarragon is not as well-known however its scent and flavoring are outstanding compared to the French variety. Having the scent between a sweet candy or chewing gum its flavor is between licorice and anise. Also, known for its beautiful late summer to fall yellow blooms it is very necessary plant to have in any garden due to color, scent and an attraction for pollinators.

Used mainly as a spice it does have a few medicinal benefits as an antioxidant, it can be used in a tea infusion added to smoke blends and used as incense.
