Lavender (any kind of lavender) whether it’s French, English, Mexican, Lavandula intermedia or fern leaf is a go to herb for almost any shot time ailment.

Why Lavender is so important? Not only because its name is derived from the saponin (soapy) phytochemical which was used to wash clothes in medieval times. Also, the word lavatory is derived from the beautiful dainty scented herb. Lavender is so easy it doesn’t have to be diluted with a carrier oil. Lavender is akin to the mint family so it can be planted to next to mint. Lavender is so powerful because of its properties of antioxidants, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antidepressants, and aesthetics. Lavender is known as a stress reliever, digestion, vomiting, nausea, abdominal swelling, headaches, sprains, fatigue, anxiety, depression, toothaches, bad breath, PMS, and can improve skin.
